Hello there, I’m Everly. I’m an almost-grown-up girl who is first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ, secondly a daughter to her parents and sister to her seven siblings. I have been a writer all my life and am blessed to know, at my age, where my passion and God’s purposes meet.
I am a seventh generation Texan who lives on a little piece of property called Eyrie Park with her family. I enjoy taking walks, homeschooling my younger siblings, doodling, dabbling in the kitchen, reading, gardening, laughing, debating, dancing and making silly movies with my friends.
I graduated (home) high school in May of 2010 and have since decided not to go to college in order to spend time writing and watching my siblings grow up. (Note: I am not against college! This was a personal decision!)
Four of my siblings were adopted from Haiti, a place where I have done mission work and even lived for a short time during the extensive adoption process. My family is a mismatched quilt of colors and personalities.
I have a passion for writing, missions, adoption, travel, education, art, family and literature.
I am currently living my life, continuing my education informally, trying to be a help to my family and putting pen to paper whenever I get the chance. Life is full and Christ is key!
