Chantel (Harding) Brankshire
I’m a twenty and some Washington Born, Alaska Grown transplant to beautiful
Rocky Mountain High Colorado. I fell in love with my best friend and on March 15, 2009, we tied the knot in a little white Church “just over the river” in Washington and set out on the beginning of our happily ever after in a funny little green house in Northern Idaho. Life has bumps, and unexpected twists for us included a long journey South, to the little brick house here in South East Tennessee that we now call our temporary home.
Happily ever after continues to be happier than I could have ever dreamed possible, in spite of the bumps that life brings, and every single day I am thankful for the blessings, and the beauty that God has surrounded us with and marvel in the wonderful knowledge that I get to spend my life with the man I love and be his wife. Nothing could be sweeter than this.
I’ve been scribbling thoughts and writing poetry for nearly as long as I can remember, and often dream of the day when I can really write. I dabble in codes and with creativity and try (and fail most of the time) to be the perfect homemaker I want to be. I love nothing better than real letters in my mailbox, Summer Evenings with fireflies, lemonade on hot days, running barefoot in the grass, old books and reading, spending time with our family (we have four wonderful parents, seven brothers and six sisters and two nephews and a niece, between the two of us), holding my Beloved’s hand while we pray each day and making the most out of rainy days together.
