Why does the YLCF team write?
- To explore our faith, to learn, to teach, to share the riches we’ve been given — and to give God a little more of the glory He deserves.
- To remind each other that rules won’t save us, but not to give up on the ideals behind those rules.
- To encourage each other in trust and contentment, celebrating what we have been given.
- To exhort fellow singles in living fulfilled lives now, because marriage is not our highest calling.
- To point “good girls” back to the One Who loves them for whose they are, not what they do.
- To cheer girls along on the road of life — to share the joys and sorrows, triumphs and tragedies, laughter and the tears.
- To promote a standard of Christian femininity.

YLCF is an online meeting place for Christian young ladies who are sincerely devoted to following the Lord. It is a place of encouragement that often refreshes, inspires, and encourages me. One thing I love about YLCF is that it is so supportive of homeschooling, being a daughter, being a wife-in-preparation, and being a whole-hearted Christian. It is a place that connects like-minded young ladies from all over the world. It is here that they can feel they belong somewhere and that they are understood.
YLCF provides companionship that encourages me when I feel lonely and isolated. It is such a blessing to know like-minded young ladies, through the blog and articles. YLCF encourages girls who are different, for His sake, to keep being different. It encourages young ladies in purity and usefulness as they walk through the difficult, waiting period of singleness.
