Christmas came early in Colorado this year…

us

slow mornings and oatmeal around the table. candles flickering and Christmas music playing. evenings with sound, light and life filling every room.

full mornings, just us, he and I, sitting in the coffee shop, fingers entwined and heart-conversation that lasted for hours.

all of us, tramping through snow and cutting down an evergreen to decorate with lights and popcorn and handmade ornaments.

Christmas came early for us… just because Daddy was home.

    So sweet! My husband is a former Marine, so I know how tough it is. I am so happy you got to spend Christmas with him. :)
