Unless you’ve been reading YLCF for the past several years, you’ve missed a lot of really fabulous posts that have gone before. And even if you have been around for ages you may not remember some of the gems tucked away in our archives. Ranging from romance to reading, to serious study and downright fun, there’s a treasure trove waiting just beneath the surface of the YLCF blog, all yours at the click of a mouse.
But for the month of August, we thought we’d make it easy for you: we’re hosting a very special Month of Classics! Look for re-postings of some of the best of the best, the pieces that have helped to lay the foundations of what the YLCF is all about.
We hope that you will enjoy this peek into the past and that we’ll all be challenged by some of the definitive posts from days gone by.
Check back tomorrow for the first installment in A Month of Classics!

Been reading for six years and I know there are some real gems in the archives, scribblings that have seriously influenced my thoughts on faith and family! Thank you, YLCF, for making a big difference in this girl’s heart! I can’t wait to re-read the “best of the best!”
I look forward to being directed to the “highlights”! Natalie Nyquist’s writings in particular have influenced me in so many ways over the years.
Yay! I know there are so many good articles in the archives, but I get so overwhelmed! Thanks for pulling out some great classics, I’m looking forward to reading them.
