Springtime

Spring time comes with flow’ring bud
To show us all that God is Love.
In the sparkling diamonds on the grass,
Are lessons to learn in Nature’s class.
And the birds singing overhead–
A choir that by heaven is lead–
Point us once again above
And in their song sing, “God is Love!”
For every little flower below
And all of Nature is here to show
That God on High, who made the bird,
Will teach us with His precious words
And lead us on to Heaven’s door
Where we will live forever more.
Where never again will fade the grass,
Nor will any thing die at last,
And we with bird and Angels sing
A chorus of praise to God our King
With all of those who live above,
We will sing that God is Love.

I love old books, real letters, cups of tea, dirt and seeds and growing things, barefoot days and most of all being married to my best friend. I'm not really a writer. I just try to write because I can't seem to help it.
