Hi, my name is Abby Dobson. I married my Army Sgt., Nathan, on November 14 of this year and have moved with him to Ft. Hood Texas which is where he will be stationed until he deploys in summer of 2010. I have never experienced military life before, so this is a big learning experience for me. I will admit that I am already dreading the thought of him leaving sometime next year. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated reading all your posts concerning deployment and being married to a service man, Ashleigh! They were so timely for me and I cried my way through them. I know I will re-read them often in the days ahead. If you ever have any suggestions as to how to best adjust to this lifestyle, I would be grateful to hear them. Already I am definitely learning to cling to God with a new fervency, as so much is unknown right now.

Oh, did I mention that I am VERY happily married and extremely proud of my man?! :)

God bless you and yours. Thank you so much for sharing your heart!

Oh, that song is such a tearjerker by itself...with the video it was too much for my mascara to handle! :-) Thank you for your family's sacrifice of having your husband/ your children's daddy away fighting so that I (along with every other American- whether they would like to acknowledge it or not) can still have my freedom! May God richly bless you all!

Watched the video clip and CRIED. You military wives are so brave...you are amazing. Thank-you for sacrificing your time with your husbands so they can protect us and our country. Your men are appreciated...they are prayed for...and I will pray for you, the behind-the-scene heros

I saw this video on your blog "Heart and Home" a few weeks back. I was so moved that I went and donated items for care packages that will be sent via the VFW. I will definitely be doing this a lot more.

God bless you.
