It really struck a cord with me, since I brought my man with me this year to celebrate Thanksgiving at my grandmother's house. He hadn't met any of my extended family before, so he got to be the one in the uncomfortable situation this year. Next, I guess, it will be my turn. But there's nothing like a situation like that to make you really appreciate someone's character. He passed the test, with flying colors I think. ;) Gretchen, I really enjoyed reading this post! I too, have been blessed with wonderful in-laws! Especially my mother-in-law. She's such a sweetheart. She made my wedding dress, all of the bridesmaids and flower girl's dresses, and our wedding cake. Not to mention she's a great Oma to our little girl. A real Proverbs 31 woman who I can look to as an example. I so thankful for my two families! Great post! I too, have been blessed with wonderful in-laws! Especially my mother-in-law.
