I’m Thankful Lord

IMG_4145I’m thankful, Lord, for theĀ  joys
You’ve given through this year.
They’ve brightened every moment
And brought me so much cheer. They’ve given me a picture
Of your great, deep love
And your tender watch care
From Heaven up above.

I’m thankful, Lord, for trials
Painful though they be,
That brought me closer to your side,
And helped my eyes to see
Just how much I need you,
In every moment of each day
To gently lead me onwards
In your chosen way.

I’m thankful, Lord, for all you’ve done
To keep me through this year.
I’m thankful for the blessings,
And for your presence near.

Yes,I think we should be thankful to the Lord also for the trials, because they bring us closer to His wounded side. We may not realize it now, but it is all for good!

Beautiful, Chantel!! The whole season of fall makes me want to slow down and remember to be thankful. :)

    Blessings,

Amen! It has amazed me this past year that it was through intense trials, suffering, and sorrow that I felt the goodness and love of God like I never have before!

Oh I like that one. It brings everything into perspective! :)
He will never leave us or forsake us.
    Much Love
