Thanks for confirming this. I have felt it sometimes when a guy has hurt my feelings, whether a romantic interest or just a friend. Even if he loved me, even if he were completely devoted to me, even if he were my husband…he would still let me down sometimes. Those are opportunities to reach for God, and also to learn more about each other.
