YLCF Gets Married!

A lot of us have grown up with the YLCF. And as we’ve gotten older, the YLCF has grown up along with us. When youth groups and purity rings were what we thought about, that’s what we wrote about. When courtship and waiting was what we were struggling with, that’s about all we could think to write about. And now that some of us are moms, we have to remember how to write about anything other than our children!

We here at the YLCF hold marriage in high esteem. And we’ve always tried to encourage our readers to have a vision of a holy, happy marriage. Growing up, I knew that how I thought about marriage as a single girl would greatly effect how my marriage looked when I was a wife. And that’s why you will always find articles about Christian marriage here on this website for young ladies.

But as more of us have golden bands on our fourth left finger, we realize more than ever the importance of encouraging each other in loving our husbands and being happy at home. And sometimes, those conversations belong just between married ladies.

So the married ladies here at ylcf.org got together to start the “Just (for) Married Ladies” blog. It will have the same look and feel of YLCF, but it will be at a different web address, published in a separate blog feed, and excluded from the YLCF site search. This seemed the best way to be able to talk about subjects that Christian wives need to hear, and yet protect our single sisters’ eyes and ears at the same time. The topics discussed over there will not be offensive or inappropriate for a Christian blog. But they will be just for married ladies.

That said, married ladies, come join us over at “Just (for) Married Ladies.” To the rest of you, don’t worry. We won’t stop publishing lots of posts on marriage for you to read right here at ylcf.org!

Smashing. I’m an unmarried gal, but it’s great to know that this resource is out there for ‘someday.’

God bless you all for everything you do.
