Those candlelit shots are beautiful. Poetry reads well anywhere, but there’s an extra magic to the words when read outdoors under the stars.

What a wonderful time you had with your friend. Reading poetry under a star-filled sky sounds lovely. Do you have a favorite poet?

I couldn’t choose one….we read some T.S. Eliot, Rosetti, and I love Tennyson, Browning, and Dickenson. :-)

    Hello Ladies,

All the pictures in the album are so beautiful. You look like you have a magical time there. I see that many more animals have be acquired for Lanier’s ever growing family. I’ve been wondering what Lanier has been doing with her time since she hasn’t been writing as much, and now I know – she’s caring for an entire farm!

I loved the picture of you all having the pizza picnic near the pasture and all those chinese lanterns you had hanging. Lanier, you are quite the hostess and really understand lighting, mood, and good food and tea!

Thank you so much for sharing them with us.

It looks like y’all had a lovely and very relaxing time! I hope your visit with Gretchen is just as much fun! (Though it may not be relaxing with baby Ruth in the house:)
