Wow. This is so true. What a beautiful poem, Chantel. I really appreciate it, being a deployed soldier's wife myself. Yes, the battles are numerous on the home-front.... And not ones you can plan for. Thanks again. This really touched my heart. It means so much.

I would love to keep in contact those who have a loved one in the military. My boyfriend was in the army but he was able to get out so he could do the chaplain program. We live in Virginia and he attends Liberty University. We have been dating for about 10 months now and we hope and pray to marry someday. Trusting that God is in control and he will direct us in His time. My brother is in the Coast Guard and stationed in Alaska so I'm familiar with military life sort of but it's different when you think of the possibility of becoming a chaplain's wife! I would love to hear all your stories and encouragement regarding the military life. God bless!

Chantel,
That is really beautiful and poignant.
We so often think about the men serving our country but what about the women behind them?
~Jaclynn

I bawled when Nat sent this to me asking for a pic, and once again, it brings tears to my eyes, Chantel. You never fail to amaze me in the way you can express so well the feelings of your friends, even when it involves something you haven't experienced yourself. Love you, girl.

Thank-you so much for sharing that poem with us,Chantal! I had tears in my eyes by the end. A good reminder to pray for both the man and his wife.
