I'm still tickled about you knowing of Holt International. You know their work is close to my heart. :)

I didn't know you could support little orphans through them. I will have to check into that. And perhaps someone--like you--sent money that in turn supported me when I was a baby. I was never in an orphanage--I was placed with a foster family, who loved me very much. My mom tells me how she knew I was very well loved and cared for when she got me because not only was I extremely chubby :D, but it was obvious that I was used to being held constantly! Awww.

Thanks for posting this, Nat!

Thank you so much for posting about adoption. My family adopted two children from Russia last year and it is always exciting to see others bringing these sweet orphans to the front for us to pray for and remember. You're right, not everyone can adopt. It has been the most painful thing our family has ever done. It's exciting to be reminded, though, of ways we can support the children right now. Thanks, Natalie

Very neat!

I have sponsored orphaned Haitian twins (a boy and a girl) through "Love a Child" since they were tiny newborns. They are now almost 2-1/2 years old, and as cute as buttons. It's so great to see photos of their adorable smiles.

Thats so wonderful....I'll certianlly pray about helping one of these dear children. God's blessed us so deeply in America, the least we can do is share those blessings with others.
