A One-Word Psalm

This week I came upon a one-word Psalm, buried in a list of Davidic descendents at the end of I Chronicles 3. Here it is:

Elioenai

Not only does it sound beautiful – say ElYOeneye – but there’s a lot of meaning packed into that one word.

It means: “Toward Jehovah are my eyes.”

Now it’s stuck in my head, and I couldn’t be happier to have it there.

Elioenai!

Oops, that should have had a comma. “It’s not too clear, is it?” I am validating your confusion, not mocking it! :O)
