Love, hope, and uncertainty

To love is to allow hope into your life.

To hope is to allow uncertainty into your life.

To be uncertain is the essence of learning to trust God to bring only the disappointments He deems best.

    Gretchen,
I’m going to copy that and put it on the wall on my bedroom. Just what I needed to hear. Thank you so much!

I love that quote, Gretchen! It expresses so perfectly what I can’t express myself. :O)

Oh, and thanks so much for posting your courtship story. Beautifully done!

What wonderful words, Gretchen. Thank you so much!! I really needed that. It is so true–especially to me right now as there is the love and hope but so much uncertainty!!! I’m slowly learning to not fear the uncertainty but instead to trust God. Sometimes it’s so hard–I want to know what’s going to happen!! But He is forever faithful. Thanks again so much for those encouraging words! He has a perfect plan and will only do what is best!
